Li Zhijian Scholarship Fund (李志坚励学基金)

Purpose: To honor Li Zhijian's contributions to the Department of Microelectronics and Nanoelectronics and support economically disadvantaged students at Tsinghua University.

Background

Established by alumni of the Department of Microelectronics and Nanoelectronics to commemorate Li Zhijian and support the microelectronics field in China. The fund embodies the principles "Virtue carries all things; self-improvement is endless."

Eligibility

• Full-time undergraduate or graduate students (primarily undergraduates) in Tsinghua University's Department of Microelectronics and Nanoelectronics
• Law-abiding with good character and conduct
• Diligent in studies and living frugally
• Meet Tsinghua University's family economic hardship criteria

Award Details

• Annual allocation: Up to ¥50,000 from fund earnings
• Uses: Support students in completing their education; may support student innovation and practice activities
• Funds drawn from investment earnings, not principal
