The Leonard Litz Foundation Community Grant application is temporarily closed. Our grant review team generally reviews new applications within four to six weeks, and, if approved, funds will be disbursed two to four weeks later. Our Mission Helping LGBTQ+ people fulfill their potential, the Leonard-Litz Foundation’s mission is to fund organizations which advance the interests and well-being of the LGBTQ+ community through advocacy, programs, and services that meet the needs of LGBTQ+ people. Focus Areas The Leonard-Litz Foundation supports partner organizations that are improving the lives of the LGBTQ+ community through life-affirming services. The Foundation seeks grant proposals for programs that address one or more of the following focus areas; Health and Wellness, Crisis. Intervention, Racial Justice, Advocacy and Community Engagement, Social Assistance and Programming. Health and Wellness We provide grants for programs and services that help members of the LGBTQ+ community gain access to specific and targeted healthcare and social services and ensure that they are treated with dignity and respect in healthcare settings. Crisis Intervention Members of the LGBTQ+ community are disproportionately at risk for mental health struggles because of the discrimination and prejudice they face. We support cost-effective crisis intervention programs that can deliver long-term positive outcomes for participants, enabling them to lead fulfilling lives. Racial Justice The Foundation supports programs and services that specifically address the inequalities faced by LGBTQ+ people of color. Advocacy and Community Engagement Grants in this area go to programs that are focused on community outreach and advocacy projects that improve public policy for the LGBTQ+ community. Social Assistance and Programming We seek to invest in programs that foster greater social connections among the LGBTQ+ community, across all age groups and ethnicities.Eligibility
