Lebanon Athletic Boosters Scholarship

Award Amount: $500 per recipient

Number of Awards: 10 scholarships total (5 male and 5 female recipients)

Geographic Scope: Lebanon High School (OH, US)

Eligibility:

  • Senior athletes attending an accredited college or university

  • Participation in and receipt of at least TWO varsity letters in any sport at LHS

  • Overall GPA of 3.0 or above

  • Completion of scholarship submission form and 500-word essay

    • Selection Priority:

  • Students whose parents are current Booster members receive first priority

  • All seniors meeting criteria are eligible

    • Award Conditions:

  • Winners must submit confirmation of college class registration to receive funds

  • Students must provide school name, school ID#, address, and contact information for fund disbursement

  • Winners announced during Senior Awards Ceremony in May

  • Booster assistance activities (if applicable)

  • Assistance with athletic and youth athletic activities (if applicable)

  • Current or past employment information

  • Extracurricular activities and community service participation

    • Essay Requirements (500 words or less):
    Must include the following information:
    1. Explain how sports have positively impacted your high school experience
    2. Identify which, if any, coach(es) have positively influenced you and why
    3. Describe what you plan to do after graduation
    4. Explain why you feel you deserve to receive a Booster Scholarship
    5. Explain any special circumstances impacting your financial need for college
