Overview
The Leandro P. Rizzuto Scholarship (American Society of the Italian Legions of Merit) awards up to $55,000 to one or more outstanding Italian-American students to study at a U.S.-accredited college or university located in Italy for up to one year. Eligibility: at least one parent or two grandparents/great-grandparents of Italian ancestry; U.S. citizen or permanent resident; accepted/enrolled full-time at a U.S.-accredited undergraduate college/university located in Italy; GPA ≥3.5/4.0; demonstrated financial need. FIA: Fact — page-stated award amount, criteria and deadline (submit by the second Thursday in May annually). Heritage- and residency-gated (flagged). Next-cycle exact date not fixed beyond 'second Thursday in May' → deadline null.
