LCF Annual Scholarship Program

Overview: The Licking County Foundation offers a wide variety of competitive scholarship opportunities to help area students achieve their academic goals. More than 100 different scholarship funds have been established by generous individuals, families, businesses or organizations to assist students in pursuing post-secondary education.

Geographic Scope: Licking County and surrounding areas, though some scholarships require specific geographic residency or high school graduation requirements. Scholarships may be used at any accredited institution in the United States.

Eligibility:

  • Status Categories (applicants must select one):

  • - Graduating high school seniors
    - High school graduates within last two years who have not yet started post-secondary education
    - Current undergraduate college students (less than 24 years old)
    - Graduate/professional degree students
    - Adult students (24+ years old)

    Eligibility Notes:

  • Residency requirement varies by scholarship fund

  • Some scholarships require Licking County high school graduation; others require specific high school

  • No requirement to attend Ohio college (can attend any accredited institution in the US)

  • Each scholarship fund has specific eligibility requirements defined by the donor

  • Part-time Student: Generally less than 12 credit hours per semester (undergraduate) or less than 9 credit hours per semester (graduate)
