Overview

For over 25 years the Wyoming Community Foundation (WYCF) has connected people who care with causes that matter to build a better Wyoming. Over the years we have granted nearly $50 million to Wyoming nonprofits, while also providing a variety of supports to our agency fund holders. WYCF serves donors and communities by connecting them to causes they care most about. We make giving easy by accepting a wide-range of gifts, including estates and gifts of stock among others. WYCF is overseen by a volunteer board who ensures your funds are being used to best support Wyoming. Lauren P. Miller Endowment Fund Scholarship The purpose of the Lauren P. Miller Scholarship is to provide financial assistance to individuals who are participating in a Registered Apprenticeship Program with the US Department of Labor, Office of Apprenticeships.* Although individuals of all trades will be considered, special attention will be given to the automotive and construction trades, e.g. carpentry, plumbing and electrical.

Provides financial assistance to individuals participating in a Registered Apprenticeship Program with the US Department of Labor, Office of Apprenticeships.Employers who do not currently have a Registered Apprenticeship Program, should contact Michael Broad, U.S. Department of Labor, Bureau of Apprenticeship and Training at (307) 772-2448 for information on developing a program for your company.All trades will be considered, with special attention given to the automotive and construction trades.Any Wyoming resident enrolling in a Registered Apprenticeship Program is eligible to apply.Length of the scholarship is one year.Scholarship recipients may then re-apply for additional years.Scholarship recipients are responsible for knowing which opportunities allow for re-application; they will not be notified about this specifically.
