Lady Denise Sanders Robertson Scholarship Grant

The Lady Denise Sanders Robertson Scholarship, administered by the East Texas Communities Foundation, supports graduating African-American seniors and non-traditional students from Smith County, Texas. East Texas Communities Foundation
The strong leadership of early organizers like Isadore Roosth, Norman Shtofman, “Dub” Riter, and an investment of the United Way of Tyler/Smith County launched the Foundation. By 1994, the Foundation’s assets had grown to more than one million dollars.

Special Requirements: A graduating African-American senior from any public, private or home school located in Smith County, Texas;A non-traditional student residing in Smith County, Texas at the time of application; orA non-traditional student residing outside of Smith County at the time of application, who plans to attend a college or university located in Smith County, Texas
