Kiwanis Foundation of New England The Kiwanis Foundation of New England (KFNE) was established in 1953 to be the fundraising arm of the New England District of Kiwanis. Since its inception, KFNE has raised and distributed millions of dollars.The Kiwanis Foundation of New England (KFNE) has as its essential mission “Improving the world one child and one community at a time”. KFNE has a long history of providing a variety of programs and community service projects that benefit the youth of New England. End Hunger Grant The Kiwanis Foundation of New England Board of Directors welcomes Kiwanis Divisions or a Kiwanis District SLP Administrator (for Kiwanis District /family events) to apply for a grant to support The Outreach Program, End Hunger New England, which supplies the materials for the project. Each Kiwanis Division or SLP Division must contribute at least $1500 towards each $4000 End Hunger Meal Packing project (10,000 meals) in order to receive $2500 from the Kiwanis Foundation of New England End Hunger Grant Program. Each Kiwanis Division or SLP Division must have a minimum of two clubs in the division participating in completion of the project. If funds are still available after March 31st of the given year, a Division may apply for a second grant to be utilized during the rest of that remaining administrative year.
