- Ineligibility: Applicants who receive a full-time academic/athletic scholarship as a college freshman are not eligible
- Note: Senior Supplemental Year Students are not eligible
Eligibility
- Total Funding: $10,000 annually
- Number of Awards: 10 scholarships (5 for boys, 5 for girls)
- Award Amount: $1,000 scholarship to each recipient for the freshman year
- Renewal: Scholarships are non-renewable
- Disbursement: Sent directly to each recipient

Application Process
Deadline: March 1st (annual)
Required Materials:
Applicants must submit 4 copies PLUS the original of ALL the following items:
1. Academic Documents
- High school transcript or senior year first-semester report card
- Copy of ACT/SAT scores
2. Supporting Documents
- List of extra-curricular activities
- Letters of recommendation (2 required):
- One from the high school principal or counselor
- One from a teacher
- Photo (photocopy acceptable)
- Photocopy of parent(s) KHSCA membership card
3. Essay (200 words)
- Explain your reasons for choosing the field of education, OR
- Describe the person who has influenced you the most to further your education

1. Print and complete the official KHSCA Scholarship Application Form
2. Gather all required materials (4 copies + original of each item listed above)
