Kentucky Bar Foundation Grant The Kentucky Bar Foundation’s mission is to further the public’s understanding of the judicial system and the legal profession through programs and philanthropic partnerships that help those in need. One of the ways that the Foundation serves this mission is by awarding annual grants to law-related organizations and projects.

Eligibility

To be considered for a grant, your program must meet the following requirements, among others:Recipient must be a tax-exempt organization (e.g. 501(c)(3)). The program or project for which funding is requested must have a law-related purpose and provide services in the Commonwealth of Kentucky.Projects eligible for funding are limited to the following program areas and must be located and provide services in the Commonwealth of Kentucky:Grants that help those in need through law-related programs. Projects that provide information enabling the public to better understand an area of the law and/or the judicial system.Projects that enhance the image of and build trust in the legal system. Publishing noteworthy publications concerning the legal profession and the judicial system.Other philanthropic endeavors in the public interest that promote and relate to the administration of justice.
