Our Mission The Community Foundation’s mission is to improve the quality of life in Greater Kansas City by increasing charitable giving, educating and connecting donors to community needs they care about, and leading on critical community issues. Scholarships We offer hundreds of different scholarships for students in and around Kansas City. Kansas Foster and Adoptive Children Scholarship Fund This fund was established to provide scholarships for any type of further education beyond high school including college, junior college, vocational, technical or other trade schools. The type and amount of aid may include, but is not necessarily limited to tuition, room and board, books, etc
