Note: Students interested in one or more of our scholarships must create an account through our online portal to complete the 2026 SACF Scholarships Common Application, which functions as an eligibility questionnaire. After completing the Common Application, the student will be directed to the scholarship application(s) they qualify for. John Malvizzi Memorial Scholarship This scholarship aims to encourage and support the next generation of mental health professionals who will contribute to our community’s well-being.

Eligibility

Established in April 2025 by the John Malvizzi Foundation, the John Malvizzi Memorial Scholarship supports students pursuing a graduate degree in a mental health–related program, such as Psychology, Psychiatry, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field, at the University of Scranton.Students should demonstrate a strong commitment to mental health advocacy and be enrolled in mental health-related programs.
