John Greene Mentorship Award

Overview: Beginning in 2024, the John Greene Mentorship Award will be granted to an industry professional who demonstrates the same passion for and dedication to mentorship as John Greene did during his 30+ years serving the industry. The award honors Greene's legacy of supporting colleagues, coworkers, and AV industry friends, and his commitment to helping young professionals build confidence and succeed in the industry.

Eligibility: Industry professionals demonstrating dedication to mentorship and professional development

Recognition: Winner will be recognized at the annual Business & Leadership Conference

Background: Named after John Greene, who worked as Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Advanced AV (acquired by New Era Technology in 2013). Greene was also an Ignite Ambassador and volunteer for Special Olympics Pennsylvania and Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation. He passed away on May 13, 2021, at age 63.
