Overview:
Since its inception in 2007, IANA has awarded over $6 million to support students in university programs focused on freight and intermodal transportation. In 2025, IANA awarded over $650,000, the highest yearly award to date. The program was renamed in 2024 in honor of Joanne F. Casey (Joni Casey), IANA's retiring chief executive and champion of the program.

TSCI Graduate Program Eligibility:

IANA member companies must have been in good standing for at least 2 years

Employees must receive at least 50% of tuition from their employer

Over 110 employees from IANA member companies have received scholarships
