Jeffrey D. Ralston Memorial Scholarship

Purpose: Supports new and developing professionals pursuing careers in underground infrastructure and trenchless technology through higher education.

Geographic Scope: United States

Focus Areas: Underground infrastructure industry, trenchless technology, wastewater systems, sewer service industry

Eligibility

• Must be a currently enrolled college student
• Must be either:
  • A relative or dependent of an active NASSCO member, OR
  • Have worked actively in the underground infrastructure industry and be sponsored by an active NASSCO member
• Must have earned a minimum 3.0 GPA
• Must be seeking a career in the underground infrastructure industry
• Must provide a letter of recommendation

Evaluation Criteria

Applicants evaluated on:

• Ethics
• Leadership
• Scholarship/academic performance
• Working experience in the sewer service industry
• Career aspirations

Award Details

• Amount: $2,000 or more awarded according to merit
• Deadline: February 1st

Application Process

1. Verify Eligibility
   • Confirm current enrollment as college student
   • Verify relationship to active NASSCO member OR work history in industry and sponsorship
   • Confirm minimum 3.0 GPA
2. Gather Required Materials
   • Letter of recommendation (required)
   • Academic transcripts showing 3.0+ GPA
   • Documentation of career goals in underground infrastructure
