Jefferson Scholarships: Evolve 502 Scholarship Grant

The Evolve502 Scholarship, offered by Jefferson Community and Technical College, is a last-dollar scholarship for eligible students from Jefferson County Public Schools' Class of 2026. It covers college tuition after federal and state aid, supporting those pursuing an associate degree, workforce credential, or up to 60 undergraduate credit hours at participating Kentucky colleges. To qualify, applicants must be Kentucky residents who graduate from high school or earn a GED.

Though the application deadline for the Evolve502 Scholarship is "Rolling," it is recommended that students complete the Evolve502 Scholarship application by October to ensure their application is processed in a timely manner.

The Evolve502 Scholarship is a last-dollar scholarship program that covers a student’s college tuition after federal and state aid has been applied. The scholarship is for eligible Jefferson County Public Schools Class of 2026 students and may be used to earn an associate degree, workforce credential or up to 60 undergraduate credit hours at any Kentucky Community and Technical College, including Jefferson Community and Technical College, or Simmons College of Kentucky.

Eligibility

Applicants must be a Kentucky resident and complete one of the following requirements:

• Graduate from a JCPS High School in 2026 or
• Earned a GED within 12 months of their original 2026 JCPS high school graduation date
• Class of 2026 students who enroll in the military no later than 90 days after high school graduation may defer eligibility while in active duty.
