These training grants can be used to cover the registration fees, accommodation and/or travel costs associated with attending such a course and are designed to support those who wouldn’t otherwise have sufficient funding to attend. Maximum funding is set at £1,000 and can be used for course fees, accommodation, travel expenses, subsistence and visa fees. The course must take place within six months of funding being awarded. Funding of multiple applications from the same lab or department will be limited, and it is likely that only one will be awarded each round.
