About the Scholarship

Established in 2017 in perpetuity through FCM Cares, this scholarship honors J.C. Gordon, one of the founders of First Community Bank and original board member of First Community Mortgage. Gordon was a respected tradesman and community leader who helped train TCAT students through an internship program at his company, WEGO Precision Machine.

Funding Source

Funds are distributed using a portion of proceeds from FCM's annual Tyler Morrissey Memorial Golf Tournament held in Murfreesboro, TN.

Administration

Funds are provided to TCAT annually and administered by TCAT leaders. Awards allow TCAT administrators to support multiple students each trimester. Funds may be used to purchase tools for student recipients.
