Funder: International Society of Transport Aircraft Trading Foundation
The ISTAT Foundation Humanitarian Aid Program, established in 1994, brings together the aviation community to support humanitarian efforts. With a focus on alleviating suffering caused by global disasters, the program funds projects that restore basic necessities and improve well-being. By collaborating with NGOs, it provides critical medical transportation and cargo support. This year, projects emphasizing environmental impact and urban mobility in under-resourced regions will be prioritized, enhancing the program's commitment to impactful humanitarian aid.
About the ISTAT Foundation
Funding for programs is provided by annual grants from ISTAT and contributions from individuals and companies. The ISTAT Foundation Board of Trustees, a separate entity from the ISTAT Board of Directors, manages fundraising and programming that meets the Foundation's objectives.
The ISTAT Foundation Humanitarian Aid Program showcases how the aviation community can join together to aid those in need. The program is administered by the Humanitarian Committee of the ISTAT Foundation Board of Trustees. The Foundation supports humanitarian causes that are designed to help save lives, promote human welfare and alleviate suffering.
In addition, the ISTAT Foundation collaborates with and supports nongovernmental, not-for-profit organizations that provide air transportation for patients that have critical needs for medical treatment and cargo that is necessary to support humanitarian causes.

Ineligibility
We do not fund capital infrastructure, for-profit projects, religious or political activities.
