Program Purpose: The Jewish Alliance Israel Desk supports opportunities for travel to Israel by matching people to programs, providing grants and scholarships, offering general travel resources, and more.
Focus Areas: Study and travel to Israel for high school, gap-year, college, and post-secondary students (through age 26)
Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must meet ALL of the following criteria:
- Be of high school, gap-year, college, or post-secondary age (through age 26)
- Be a resident of greater Rhode Island
- Plan to study/travel in a recognized study/travel program
- Be a donor in good standing to the Community Campaign of the Jewish Alliance of Greater Rhode Island - Please note: No pledge is too small to apply - A donor in good standing is one whose immediate family has made a pledge to the current year's Alliance Community Campaign and is current with past pledges and other Alliance financial commitments
- Provide a recommendation from one of the following: - Rabbi/education advisor - Jewish youth group advisor - Public/private school teacher - Family friend/mentor/personal contact
Previous Recipients
Applicants who have previously received two years of funding may be considered, however only pending the availability of funds.

Financial Aid Eligibility: Only high school and gap-year applicants are eligible for financial aid.

#### Additional Requirements (All Applicants)
- Attach a brief program description upon application submission
- Completed forms should be submitted to the Israel Desk prior to the deadline
- Applications received after the deadline may be considered pending availability of funds
#### Submission Instructions

3. Have your recommendation contact submit the Recommendation Form
4. Submit all materials to the Israel Desk
5. Notification of status will be provided as soon as possible
