Background: Managed by Student Foundation Association with oversight from President, Islander Revue Chair, and Director of Engagement. Judged by five judges representing TAMU-CC, Islander Alumni Association Board, Corpus Christi Community, Television/Radio/Film, and TAMU-CC supporters/alumni.
How to Apply
Registration and Application Process
1. Submit Registration Forms and Fees
- Submit directly to Student Foundation Office on second floor of Woo Sung Lee Alumni Welcome Center
- Address: 6129 Ennis Joslin Road
- Deadline: September 29 (or until group capacity of 10 is reached)
- Late payments subject to disqualification
- Cancellations after October 14 incur $200 fee; no refunds available
2. Song Selection Submission
- Not required at registration, but song list must be received by October 6
- Songs selected on first-come, first-serve basis
- Email song list to islander.revue@tamucc.edu
3. Technical Specifications Meeting
- Representative from each group must meet with PAC staff and Student Foundation Association
- Time and location determined later
- Discuss technical requirements for group performance
4. Submit Script Sheets and Light Cues
- Deadline: Tuesday, October 26
- Email to: islander.revue@tamucc.edu
- Format requirements:
- Double spaced in 14 point font
- Typed as music is phrased, not as text
- Include spaces for large music breaks
- Include all correct and complete lyrics
- Include all correct lighting directions
- Include all musical cues and directions
- No changes allowed after October 26 deadline
5. Submit Pre-recorded Audio
- Deadline: Friday, October 29
- Preferred format: WAV files
- For music and other audio to play during performance
6. Attend Scheduled Rehearsals (mandatory)
- 1-Hour General Rehearsal: October 30 or November 1
- 30-Minute Tech Rehearsal: November 2
- Dress Rehearsal: November 3 (7pm-10pm at Performing Arts Center)
7. Pre-final Dress Rehearsal Approval
- President of Student Foundation, Islander Revue Chair, and Director of Engagement must approve all costuming, choreography, and musical selections
8. Submit Changes in Writing
- After confirmations, any changes, additions, or deletions regarding songs, costumes, and participants must be submitted in written form or email to Islander Revue Chair
