LeadingAge PA Internship Grants
Organization: LeadingAge PA Foundation
Purpose: LeadingAge PA is committed to increasing student awareness of diverse career opportunities in the aging services sector. The organization sponsors internship grants that support LeadingAge PA members interested in offering paid internships at their communities for a duration of 8-10 weeks. These grants assist staff from member communities in Pennsylvania as they pursue degrees, certifications, and continuing education in aging services.
Geographic Scope: Pennsylvania (internships must be at LeadingAge PA member communities)

- Committed to communicating with selected representatives regarding program status and progress during award period

- From provider's president, CEO, executive director, or administrator
- Must outline the following sections:
### Required Letter Content
- Educational Objectives: Outline the goals of the internship and what the intern is expected to learn
- Intern Benefits: Explain how the intern will gain from this experience and what specific skills or knowledge they will acquire
- Supervision and Contacts: Identify who will supervise the intern and serve as the primary contact person for both the intern and LeadingAge PA
- Enriching Environment: Describe how the organization will create a supportive and enriching atmosphere for the intern, which will enhance their awareness of and opportunities in aging services
