International Parliamentary Scholarship (IPS)

  • Funder: German Bundestag, in cooperation with Freie Universität Berlin, Humboldt-Universität Berlin, and Technische Universität Berlin

    Program Components:

  • Three-month placement with a Member of the Bundestag

  • Practical knowledge of parliamentary work

  • Multifaceted program of trainings, seminars, and university courses

  • Opportunity for highly qualified young people to experience German parliamentary system and political decision-making processes
  • Selection Process: Pre-selection process followed by interviews held in the United States with German Bundestag's independent panel
