NOTE: We will first ask you to submit your project abstract (300 words) then, if your abstract meets our criteria and has potential to receive IHRA funding, we will invite you to complete a full application. Project abstract due by Pre-Proposal deadline above. International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance (IHRA) The International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance (IHRA) is an intergovernmental organization with 35 Member Countries and 9 Observer Countries. Founded in 1998 by former Swedish Prime Minister Göran Persson, we address issues related to the Holocaust and genocide of the Roma. Our Mission The International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance (IHRA) unites governments and experts to strengthen, advance and promote Holocaust education, remembrance, and research worldwide and uphold the commitments of the 2000 Stockholm Declaration and the 2020 IHRA Ministerial Declaration. Grant Program Through the IHRA Grant Program, we are are able to fund projects of external organizations. The Grant Program is core to our work as an organization, and projects that receive IHRA funding also have access to the IHRA’s expertise, tools, and guidance. The IHRA Grant Program welcomes applications from all over the world and from any organization or institution in the field of education, remembrance, and research of the Holocaust and the genocide of the Roma. The projects we co-fund are innovative, relevant, and impactful, have a clear international component, and either safeguard the record of the Holocaust and the genocide of the Roma (Program 1), or counter distortion (Program 2).Eligibility
