Instrument Match Program

Band of Angels provides students facing financial barriers with free band or orchestra instruments so they can participate in school music programs.

Geographic Scope: United States (Kansas-based organization)

Eligibility:

• Students facing financial barriers
• Participating in or planning to join a school band or orchestra program
• Can be submitted by: school music directors, administrators, students, parents, guardians, or community members

What They Provide:

• Free band or orchestra instruments
• Matched with student based on need and fit
• Students can keep instruments as long as they participate in music
• Instruments must be returned if student stops playing
• Assistance available for repair costs if financial hardship exists

Instrument Care Expectations:

• Normal care and upkeep required from recipient

Confirmation Process:

• School administrators and music directors confirm need and fit
