About the Funding Opportunity The American Lung Association with its longstanding commitment to lung health and disease prevention, seeks to support researchers and scientists to generate knowledge that  can inform public policies and interventions, and promote healthier indoor environments. The grant funding will be $100,000 per year for Independent Researchers and $50,000 per year for Mentored Researchers. Both awards will be offered for up to three years. Applicants seeking either the mentored award or the independent award follow the same application process.
