Indoor Air Research Award Grant

The American Lung Association Research Institute Awards and Grants Program is building on over 120 years of success by investing in the brightest, pioneering minds to drive innovation, discover the unknown, and improve the lives of those living with and at risk of lung disease. The Indoor Air Research Award was created to address the critical need for advancing scientific understanding of the health impacts associated with indoor air quality and to find solutions for them. The grant aims to stumulate innovatve research, discoveries, and interventions that can ultimately guide policies and practces to improve indoor air quality.
About the Funding Opportunity
The American Lung Association with its longstanding commitment to lung health and disease prevention, seeks to support researchers and scientists to generate knowledge that  can inform public policies and interventions, and promote healthier indoor environments.
The grant funding will be $100,000 per year for Independent Researchers and $50,000 per year for Mentored Researchers. Both awards will be offered for up to three years. Applicants seeking either the mentored award or the independent award follow the same application process.
