Individuals & Households Program (Other Needs Assistance)

FEMA’s Individuals and Households Program (IHP) provides financial and direct services to eligible individuals and households affected by a disaster, who have uninsured or under-insured necessary expenses and serious needs, up to a maximum of $37,900 for Housing Assistance (repair/replacement of home, temporary housing, etc.) and $37,900 for Other Needs Assistance (personal belongings, child care, medical/dental/funeral expenses, etc.)
