If the applicant does not have an EPPP Policy at the time of application, an EPPP Policy must be adopted by the secondary full-proposal due date. Increased Recycling of Empty Glass Beverage Containers Grant Program (CA) To recycle more glass beverage containers, the Increased Recycling of Empty Glass Beverage Containers Grant Program funds regional pilot programs that supply bins for collecting empty glass beverage containers from: Restaurants Retail licensed establishments that sell beverages to drink onsite (on-sale), including:On-sale beer and wine licenses On-sale general licenses On-sale general licenses for seasonal businesses Funding $4,000,000 available for each fiscal year.Up to $2,000,000 maximum available per applicant per fiscal year (FY).$500,000 minimum requested amount per applicant per fiscal year (FY). Applicants receiving grants from the grant program must expend an amount equal to or greater than the amount of the grant received to create and operate the pilot program.
