Overview

ICJR seeks to improve criminal justice responses to domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, and stalking by strengthening law enforcement and community responses to victims. Projects assist in providing sexual assault medical forensic exams in rural communities and developing best practice guidelines for prosecution. Current award period: 04/01/2026 through 03/31/2029. Also includes continuation award (10/01/2023-09/30/2026) funding a Victim Witness Advocate for Coordinated Community Response in Lyon and Churchill Counties.
