Eligibility

• Current IFER Graduate Fellowship recipients only
• Must be presenting IFER-funded research at major meetings and conferences
• Eligible presentations include oral and poster presentations
• Limited to one travel grant per grant cycle per fellow

Award Details

• Amount: Up to $1,000 per award
• Eligible Expenses:
- Conference registration fees - Hotel or other accommodation costs - Transportation costs

Requirements

• Must apply for travel award at least one month before travel to conference
• All presentations and publications resulting from IFER-funded research must mention IFER as a funding source
• Must include presentations/publications in bi-annual progress reports

Post-Award Requirements

Within two weeks of returning from conference, recipients must submit:
• A 500-1,000 word article summarizing conference experience
• A 1-2 minute video summarizing conference experience
• Images at the conference (presenting work and near event signage)
• Detailed receipts for eligible expenses

These materials may be used in IFER digital and print communications, and some images may be used by the National Anti-Vivisection Society (main funding source for IFER).
