Overview
The Idaho Power Technical Scholarship offers two $2,500 awards for students residing in Idaho Power's service area. Eligible applicants must have a high school GPA above 2.75 or a GED and be enrolled in an accredited technical school program in Idaho. This scholarship supports those pursuing skilled trades such as linework, electric power, and welding. Awards are one-time grants for the academic year following the award.
Scholarships - For Students Applying to Higher-Education Programs
Two $2,500 scholarships are available to support students who live in Idaho Power’s service area and plan to enroll in an accredited Idaho technical school program to learn a skilled trade (e.g., linework, electric power, mechanical, welding, applied technology, etc.).
All scholarship awards are granted on a one-time basis for the school year directly following the award.
