Overview
The Siragusa Family Foundation's I.M.P.A.C.T. (Investing in Movements for Prevention and Action for Community Transformation) request for proposals is a participatory grantmaking initiative addressing community violence in Chicago. It was designed by the I.M.P.A.C.T. Council, a group of community advisors convened by the Foundation.
Organizations may apply for one-year general operating or program grants of $5,000 to $20,000. The RFP names three focus areas: Arts and Culture, Community Connections, and Power Building.
Applications are due October 26, 2026. An information session was held on September 29, 2026, with the recording to be posted by October 5.

Black- and/or Latine-serving organizations on Chicago's South and West Sides, or in communities with predominantly Black or Latine populations, whose budgets for the previous and current fiscal years are under $1,000,000. Applicants need 501(c)(3) status or a fiscal sponsor.
Ineligibility
Not funded: lobbying, for-profit businesses, individuals, political candidates, research, capital support and scholarships. Current Siragusa Family Foundation grantees are not eligible.
