Geographic Scope

- Prior grant recipients may reapply if they have submitted required reports by designated deadlines
- Organizations that failed to submit required reports are no longer eligible
Eligibility
- Capital infrastructure projects
- For-profit projects
- Policy advocacy, military, or political activity
- Projects promoting specific religious views
- Projects that are typically the funding responsibility of national, state or local government
- Capital campaigns and endowment funds
- Requests in which funds will be re-granted to other organizations
- Events from which the proceeds will benefit other organizations
- Debt retirement/deficit funding
- Activities occurring prior to grant decision
What Will NOT Be Funded
- Direct costs only: program materials, program staff salaries, and other fees that pertain only to the program or project
- Indirect costs limited to maximum 25% of requested program/project budget (administrative staff salaries, rent, utilities, office supplies, etc.)

Application Process
1. Review Requirements: Review all eligibility criteria and grant details before applying
2. Prepare Organizational Documents: Compile the following documents for upload:
- Governing documents
- Most recent statement of financial position (balance sheet)
- Most recent statement of activities (income and expense statement)
- Most recent audit
- Current I.R.S. determination letter indicating tax-exempt status (US) or NGO registration (non-US)
- Operating budget for current fiscal year (including sources of revenue and expense categories)
- Requested program or project budget
- Promotional materials (brochures, photos, etc.)
3. Complete Application: Complete the Humanitarian Aid Grants application form
4. Submit: Submit all materials through the online application portal
