Background
Since 2022, the Titmouse Foundation has partnered with the High School of Art and Design to provide renewable annual scholarships to support the next generation of artists. The foundation partnered with HSAD because of the dedication of teachers in fostering students, the engaged PTA, and the "ferocious drive" of students who come from all boroughs of NYC to practice their craft.- Amount: Up to $10,000 annually
- Duration: Maximum 4 years (renewable)
- Additional Benefits: Access to a mentor with experience in the animation industry
- Renewal Requirement: Maintain satisfactory academic performance of 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale
Award Details
- Currently a senior enrolled at the High School of Art and Design
- Will be attending a college and majoring in animation or adjacent departments such as illustration or game design
- From an underrepresented background such as (but not limited to): person of color, woman, LGBTQIA+, etc.
- In need of financial aid in order to continue their education
- Minimum grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale (or its equivalent)
