Howard and Beverly Murray Memorial Scholarship Grant

The Howard and Beverly Murray Memorial Scholarship, offered by the Community Foundation of North Central Washington, honors high-achieving students pursuing education in math and science. Eligible applicants must be graduating seniors from Chelan or Douglas high schools with a minimum GPA of 3.4. This scholarship aims to support students who demonstrate a commitment to their academic pursuits in fields like mathematics, physics, and chemistry, ensuring they have the resources needed to succeed in further education.

Howard Murray spent his life teaching and motivating students in the field of chemistry. In his memory, this scholarship honors dedicated, high achieving academic students with interests in math and science.

Eligibility

Eligibility:
Graduating senior from any Chelan or Douglas high schoolMinimum 3.4 GPAPursuing further education in the fields of mathematics, physics, calculus, chemistry or other math sciences at an accredited four year college or university in the United StatesNote: Scholarship will be awarded now but not paid out until officially accepted into your program major at the school you are attending. Will need to supply letter of acceptance.
