Honda’s Community Event Sponsorship Grant

Honda’s Community Event Sponsorship aims to support local, regional, and national events that enhance community engagement and celebrate diverse cultures. Organizations must be U.S.-based and tax-exempt, focusing on projects that serve communities where Honda associates are active. Eligible events include parades, festivals, and educational initiatives. Honda evaluates requests based on community needs and available funding, reinforcing its commitment to social responsibility and community enhancement.

Honda Corporate Funding
Honda offers funding opportunities for programmatic support and community event sponsorships. Each request is evaluated based on its own merit, taking into consideration community needs and available funding.
Community Event Sponsorships
Community event sponsorship requests can include, but not limited to parades, community festivals, galas, runs, walks.
Geographic Scope
Requests for community event sponsorships can be local, regional or national in scope, but must primarily benefit communities where Honda associates live and work. Eligible requests must serve one or more of the following states, where Honda has major operations in the U.S. and a strong community presence:

Eligibility

Organizations must be located in the United States and have tax-exempt status under the Internal Revenue Code Section 501(c)(3)/(4)/(6) or utilize a tax-exempt, non-profit fiscal sponsor
Public school districts, private/public elementary and secondary schools as listed by the U.S. Department of Education’s National Center for Education Statistics (NCES).

Ineligibility

Organizations not eligible:Organizations that are ineligible for contributions under any state or federal lawOrganizations with a pending 501(c) tax-exempt public charity statusPolitical parties, candidates, or campaignsPrivate clubs, fraternities or sororitiesOrganizations that represent a conflict of interest with HondaInstitutions located outside the U.S. or those whose funds are used outside the U.S.Organizations that discriminate on the basis of race, color, ethnicity, national origin, ancestry, age, religion, sex, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, disability, veteran or military status, marital status, family status, genetic information, or any other status protected by law
