Overview
Historic Preservation Capital Loan Program
This program provides funding for acquisition, refinancing, rehabilitation, and pre-development costs for historic properties, particularly endangered historic structures for which traditional or commercial loans are not available. In addition, certain nonprofits are eligible to apply for a nonrepayable transfer of funds from the program. This component of the program is new beginning in FY 2024 and is only available to a “qualified cooperating nonprofit organization.”
