The Hirschfeld Family Foundation (the “Foundation”) is a private, independent foundation established in 1993 to promote the well-being of the citizens of Nebraska. Our mission is: To make a difference where we can. What We Do We receive and evaluate requests for monetary grants. We prefer to fund specific, time-limited requests rather than budgetary programs. Priority is given to organizations located in Central and Western Nebraska, but not restrictively. As we decide which requests to fund, we look for projects and programs that directly benefit the disadvantaged and vulnerable among us.
