Overview

Our Story Before the Hind Foundation came to be, our family placed significant value on community, volunteering time and resources to organizations that impacted community growth and success. Having always been inspired by and passionate about nature, history, music and visual arts, and ecosystems, it was in these areas that we tended to focus our efforts. Through our involvement in local programs, we had the opportunity to meet other individuals dedicated to making a difference in their own local communities. We quickly realized that many organizations were unable to make the impact they desired; they needed more funding, education, and/or mentorship to truly make a difference. In 2006, we founded the Hind Foundation to fund community-based projects and programs that encourage people to work together to build an enduring legacy for future generations. Since that time, we have supported deserving nonprofits by funding their projects and programs, and - just as importantly - by providing education and business resources to guide them to become stronger, self-sustaining organizations. We believe that by conserving, we inspire; by caring, we motivate. It is each generation’s responsibility to instill these values in the next so that as a community we can move forward without suspicion or fear. You can discover more about our story and what drives our funding decisions through the projects and programs we have been privileged to fund.
