High Visibility Enforcement-Mini Grants Each state has a Highway Traffic Safety Section that receives and manages funding from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) for implementing behavioral programs aimed at improving traffic safety. The State Highway Traffic Safety Section of the Montana Department of Transportation (MDT-SHTSS) serves that function in Montana, under the leadership of the Governor’s Representative for Highway Traffic Safety.Eligibility
