High School Athletic Scholarships

Annual scholarships awarded to deserving high school student-athletes who demonstrate athletic excellence, positive role modeling, and leadership both on and off the playing field.

Geographic Scope: Twin Cities Area, Minnesota (partnering schools)

Focus Areas:

• High school student-athletes
• Leadership and character development
• Academic and athletic achievement

Eligibility:

• High school student-athletes
• Attending Thielen Foundation partnering schools in Twin Cities Area
• Nominated by coaches, teachers, and school staff
• Demonstrated positive role models and leaders on and off the field

Award Structure:

• $1,000 per scholarship
• Awarded to multiple students annually

Background: Since 2018, the foundation has donated many scholarships to individual students, youth teams, and high school sports teams. The foundation partners with schools like Brooklyn Center High School to provide these scholarships.

Nomination-Based: Students are nominated by:
