Hermann Area Grantmaking Program The Community Foundation of the Hermann Area works to improve the quality of life for individuals in its service area through thoughtful grantmaking and community leadership. It is governed by a Board of Directors, chosen for their knowledge of the area. Grant decisions are made by the grant committee.  Grant decisions are made by a selection committee comprised of local community members. Mission Our mission is to enhance the quality of life in the Hermann area through resource development, community grantmaking, collaboration and public leadership. Funding Applicants who serve the Hermann area are encouraged to apply. The maximum amount one applicant can request is $1,200. Applicants may apply for up to all the available funding for this grant cycle.
