About the Foundation In 1990, Helen Wardman Naselli created the foundation in memory of her parents, Harry and Lillian Wardman. Harry Wardman {London, 1872- Washington DC,1938} was a real estate developer in Washington, DC during the early 20th century, whose developments included landmark hotels, luxury apartment buildings and many row houses. He arrived in New York in 1889 and traveled to Washington, DC in 1893 where, as a carpenter, he began building homes and apartments. In 1908, he married Lillian Glascox. Together they had one daughter, Helen. In 1936 Helen married Count Giovanni Naselli of Rome. Funding Priorities Aged Persons Exclusively for the benefit of aged persons who are in need, and to organizations such as old people’s homes and other institutions having for their purpose the care and relief of disease and want of worthy and needy elderly persons, provided that such organizations qualify as charitable organizations under the Internal Revenue Code.
