Helen Anita and William E. Evans, Jr., M.D. Scholarship Fund The Dr. Bill Vocational Scholarship Fund was established to honor the legacy of a longtime family medicine physician in the Greater Kansas City area and his commitment to supporting employees of the Kansas City VA Medical Center. The scholarship provides financial assistance to children of current Kansas City VA Medical Center employees who plan to enroll or are enrolled in a vocational school. Eligible applicants must have a parent or legal guardian who has worked at least 30 hours per week in their current position for a minimum of one year. Selection is based on financial need, extracurricular involvement, and academic performance, with no age requirement. Awards are made annually, are non-renewable, and are disbursed as a one-time payment directly to the vocational school. Award amounts vary.Eligibility
