Heistand Family Foundation Grant

The Heistand Family Foundation Grant aims to empower children in poverty through impactful programs and partnerships. The foundation prioritizes projects that enhance human health, community well-being, and education, focusing on practical applications. Nonprofit organizations and governmental entities are encouraged to apply, particularly those located in the Omaha/Council Bluffs area or western Iowa. This grant supports initiatives that foster job skills and improve the quality of life for disadvantaged children.

NOTE: A Letter of Interest may be submitted at any time throughout the year. Applications are reviewed on a Semi-Annual Cycle.
The Foundation began as a focused way to affect positive change for children in poverty.
Priorities
The Foundation will create, mentor and sustain projects such as, but not limited to:
Impactful programs which support children in poverty Partnership programs with schools & organizations fostering job skill fundamentals of the Building Construction Trades
Value Statement
The Foundation focuses on practical applications, programs and projects specific to Human Health, Community Well-Being, and Education. The Foundation will seek partnerships which create access to  programs and improvements changing the lives of children living within the confines of poverty.

Eligibility

Applicants must be a nonprofit organization or governmental entity.Either have 501 (c) (3) designation or use an an approved fiscal agent.Organizations may submit one application per grant cycle.
