Heart Rhythm Society: Research Fellowship Scholarships Grant

The Heart Rhythm Society offers a competitive Research Fellowship in cardiac electrophysiology aimed at supporting post-doctoral researchers, including MDs, DOs, and PhDs. Awardees receive a $50,000 stipend, complimentary membership, and registration for the Heart Rhythm Annual Meeting. This fellowship not only promotes significant research contributions but also helps recipients establish successful careers in the field, with many becoming leaders and program directors within a decade.

To this end, HRS has established a post-doctoral research fellowship in cardiac electrophysiology to encourage and support the research training of MDs, DOs, and PhDs in either basic or clinical electrophysiology. These fellowships assist awardees in initiating careers in electrophysiology research while obtaining significant research results.
Each award includes:
A one-year stipend of $50,000Complimentary membership to the SocietyComplimentary registration to the Heart Rhythm Annual Meeting in the year that the award is presentedAn invitation to serve as faculty and present research findings at the Heart Rhythm Annual Meeting at the conclusion of the fellowship
The HRS Research Fellowship is a very competitive award with a review process that ensures NIH-like rigor and transparency. Award recipients over a 10-year period have co-authored at least 1,200 manuscripts after completing their fellowship, and many have become program directors and leaders in the field of cardiac electrophysiology.
