HealthCare Foundation of CC Grant

The HealthCare Foundation of Cleveland County aims to improve community health by funding innovative programs addressing local healthcare needs. They award Community Health Grants to qualified non-profits, focusing on innovative solutions for healthcare challenges. In partnership with Atrium Health, they emphasize community wellness, ensuring resources are effectively directed towards enhancing health outcomes in Cleveland County.

Most notably, the Foundation raised $1.5 million to assist in the $35 million expansion project of the hospital. In 1995, the Board of Directors changed the mission from funding bricks and mortar to providing financial support for community disease and injury prevention activities and health maintenance programs.

Eligibility

As part our mission, the Foundation may award Community Health Grants to qualified non-profit organizations in Cleveland County who seek support for innovative or needed programs or initiatives that address targeted healthcare concerns in Cleveland County and/or the social determinants of health and well-being.

Ineligibility

These grants are awarded at the sole discretion of the Board of Directors and areas typically NOT funded include, but are not limited to:Capital campaign requests
Debt retirement/deficit funding or expenses incurred prior to grant award decisions
Direct support of individuals (e.g. scholarships, hardship)
Duplication of existing programs or services by new organizations
Publication of books
Projects that are typically the funding responsibility of federal, state or local government
