- Must have been a resident of San Benito County, OR
- If out-of-county: must have been an employee or volunteer for San Benito Health Care District for a minimum of one continuous year prior to application date
- Must be seeking education in an accredited institution leading to employment in a healthcare field
- Must provide proof of registration or acceptance by June 1st in an accredited school (scholarship funds withheld until proof provided)
- Must provide most recent transcripts from school currently attending
- Must provide three references

2. Complete Application: Fill out all required sections
3. Submit Required Materials:
- Completed application form
- Most recent transcripts from current school
- Three reference letters
- Proof of registration or acceptance at an accredited institution (must be submitted by June 1st)
4. Submit Application: Applications are due April 1st annually
5. Award Process: Scholarships awarded in May following application deadline
