Overview

Harvey E. Anderson Scholarship

Purpose: Support graduating high school athletes who demonstrate excellence in academics and athletics

Eligibility:

Graduating Section V high school seniors

Diligent in academic and athletic endeavors

Exhibit self-motivation and extraordinary effort

Must be nominated by school athletic director or sports coach

Award Details:

Primary Awards: One award of $4,000 each to both a male and a female athlete

Payment: $1,000 per year for up to four consecutive years of undergraduate study

Runner-up Awards: One non-renewable award of $1,000 to both a male and a female runner-up

Payment Schedule: Paid in Fall and divided equally between Fall and Spring semesters

Application Period: December 1 to February 28 (nomination required)
