The Hanover Life Squad, Inc. Fund The Hanover Life Squad Fund was established in 1999 following the closure of the Hanover Life Squad, after 26 years of service. The fund was founded by Joseph B. Pater, owner of Kellin, Inc., and the only original squad member still serving at the time of its disbandment. He was joined by fellow board members Dennis Byrd, Marcia Roemer, Janet Pater, and Tim Roemer in launching this initiative. Created with a mission to continue the spirit of service, the fund is dedicated to supporting local fire departments and emergency medical services, ensuring they have the resources needed to protect and serve our communities. Funding Priorities Grants from this fund support local EMS and fire services, including equipment purchases, staffing, training and supplies. Organizations applying for grants are strongly encouraged to provide matching funds for the amount they are requesting. Preference is given to units on Butler County's west side, including Hanover, Millville and Reily Township Departments.Eligibility
